i dont know how they blew in your car, i have had them in my car for a good 8 months with no problems, u have to tune it properly threw the radio taking out all bass , these speakers were ment for highs

if u tune out the bass from the speakers threw radio and leave the interiors for just highs and have a subs pushing your bass these sound mint

i have these as my interiors pushed by a kicker amp

with 2 12" fosgate subs pushed with 1000w PPI amp and i love it

i get all the nice highs with the pioneer speakers and the bass from the subs combining toghter to make a nice sound

if u dont tune ur radio properly and make bass come out of these speakers it wont sound right, but if u just leave them as highs , even with an amp connected to them u will love them

sorry for ur bad experience with them , but these are not made at all for bass or mids, moslty highs

Isn't that the point of 3-way speakers, to have the bass, mids, and highs?
