Replica Rims?

What is the general consensus on OEM Replica Rims? I saw this pair on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33748

Total would come to $509 w/out tires. When you think about it all rims are considered aftermarket if you don't buy OEM. Just in this case they look just like OEM. Does anyone know what the differences might be? Any information is appreciated.

I'm not really looking for "Why don't you just go buy these [fill in with rim type]?" I would really like to know about these OEM replicas.

Thanks.

good question I have always wondered about replica rims as well I would assume they would be of lesser quality but who know they could be heavier than stock or lighter...

I had a set of these AND a set of OEM ones at one point. I actually preferred the look of the replicas because of the center cap. The quality is equal on both.

Thanks. Quality of the replicas was my biggest question.

I wouldn't buy them bc they turn into dust after a month. A rim is a rim but I doubt they are the same quality as OEM.

Heh, dunno about the quality, but I have always liked that wheel.

Some aftermarket wheel manufacturers make the OE wheels. Might be the same company. They could have sold the mold to someone else. I would buy them if I wanted them. Just depends on what you want.
