Update on my car.. *picture/link/movie*

Well I know that not everyone checks out the audio forum much, but this isn't really audio, just something I am working on that pertains to that. The link is to the thread in the audio section (tons of images on several pages with day by day updates).

Here is the image (click picture for the movie)

This is the link for the video if you can't just right click the image for it: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dsuthar/bigsadler.avi

And this is the link to the audio thread that has the details of everything else: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=204091

Enjoy.

Jason

(I also just got done putting my ground control/koni temporary coilovers on until my custom ones get made.. silly wheel gap)

sweet jesus, thats a first, and definitely hot. I'll take it thats like something u would only put in when car is parked and doing a show or something? I'm surprised that whole piece can fit in your trunk along with the other stuff...i saw previous pics and everything looked kind of tight fitting...

that's a very cool custom job you got going there Jason. Very creative and ingenious. But, I was wondering about one thing, how are you going to secure that battery in the trunk? Are you just going to secure it to the wood? Just wondering how safe that would be considering you are going to be driving it and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you or your max. Keep up the good work.

the battery used to just sit on the floor and was held there by it's own weight, but now it has it's own box it sits down it and will be bolted to, so that will be completely solid.

right now i am running into problems fitting the amps in and trying to close the trunk (trunk tension bars are in the way).. custom stuff always has problems.

everything is IN the trunk, but the amps may hit and etc etc etc..

they won't rub on the rim at all.. infact they are about 12" behind the wheel. they may hit the tension trunk arms but only on the right side, we will see.
