Budget Y-Pipe, B-Pipe Diameters???

I was just curious as to what the diamter was of the Budget Y-Pipe and B-Pipe. I am very interested in getting buying these with a Carsound Cat, but i wanted to know what the pipe diamters were because i was also considering an Apex'i World Sport Exhaust in place of the Budget B-Pipe if it was less than 2.25" in diameter.
This is an add on to my question, but does anyone know how much a 5th Generation Muffler would go for new? Should i get one new or used or what?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Budget Y and B are 2.5" both mandrel bent, it visually looks much larger than stock too.

Thanks man. So it would obviously be a bottle neck to get the Apex'i World Sport when you have the budget y-pipe ahead of it. I think i am going to do, budget y-pipe, cat, b-pipe on stock muffler until i can find out where i can get a 5th generation muffler and how much it would cost. Can anyone help me out with that???
Thanks.

I bought one last year for just over $100, just have to modify the inlet to match the b-pipe and get a flange welded on.

BTW the 5th Gen muffler is still only 2 1/4 inlet. I got mine expanded a bit but its still smaller than the Budget B-Pipe.

Let me ask you this,
If i kept the stock 4th gen muffler, would the b-pipe bolt to it fine without any welding needed? Also whats the difference in performance between the 4th gen muffler and the 5th gen muffler? Is it worth the $100???

Yes the stock 4th Gen muffler will bolt directly on to the Budget B-Pipe.

Not sure on the performance gains with the 5th Gen, maybe 3-5 HP Maximum, I just liked the looks of it and its quiet. Also make sure you get the resonator if you get the Budget B-Pipe there is no restriction, its a Stainless Steel Dynomax and it does help keep things quiet.

Do you got a pic of this resonator ?, im debating of weather to buy resonated or non resonated , its a better resonater than the stock one right?

You can bet the stock one isn't Stainless Steel. Here is a pic its not that great but you can see it.

Yes, that is also Budget's Test Pipe in there too.

Thanks man. I really appreciate it, i also like the picture you included in your last response.
I have another question:
How much of a whp gain am i looking at on my stock GXE with just the Budget Y-pipe, Carsound Cat, Budget B-pipe & Stock muffler???
No intake just that setup i just listed.
If i had a FrankenCar Intake with the setup i just listed how much of a whp gain would i be looking at???
What do you think my car would dyno at since it has 95,550 miles and has an auto tranny??? It is a '97 GXE.
Thanks!

I really don't know on the HP, I have never dynoed my car. From what I have read though I would say in the 15-20 HP increase range for the Budget, Y and B.
