Im ignorant on susupension...need some advice!

Well im considering after some time now to maybe get a new suspension. The thing is i dont know what to get. I do know that i will need new springs and struts...what about shocks? Im a little confused in this area since ive never done this before. Also where is a good place to get all this stuff from? Any help would be much appreciated since im a suspension dummy. I've heard good things about the Maxspeed/KYB GR2 combo. I live in CT so i dont want a rough ride...just a little better performance and look.

You got it! Get that combo, it will run you about $360-400 total for both the springs and shocks/struts. Look in the group deal section of our forum for purchase info. BTW our cars have struts all around as the shock is incorporated with the spring.

A "front strut tower bar" FSTB ($45) is very inexpensive and adds alot of rigidity to the steering feel. Better feel and response.

Finally the "rear sway bar" RSB ($150) will help your car rotate around those high speed corners. In other words, you will have much less "push" or understeer around corners.

Thanks a lot for the info Maximam...i do already have a FSTB and a RSB so the springs/struts are the final step.

FYI. The struts hold the spring. Shocks have the spring mounted elsewere.
