KYB Shock Install Help/SS install

Friends car doing the install no instructions..for aftermarkets cant search.

KYB AGXs/ Springs and Kyb Boots
Spring there is a slight very slight difference at both ends of the springs clearance does it matter which side is up or down? Or not..

When compressing and adding nut on top would a air wrench suffice to spin faster than the piston so it doesn't spin around.

Where does the washer go that came with the boot, and the boot covers the bumpstop total correct and attaches to base of shock w/ provided twisty tag.

b/m short shifter just by dropping the upper cat. heatshield is there enough room to work with possibly or do the cat/b-pipe bolts have to removed. (they look very rusty probably get rounded on removal if they ever come out)

Only advice I can give is that the words on the springs should be upright for the install..... You should be able to read the Company logo normally...... Other than that, I dont know much about the install process
