went to mechanic, who said I need to replace three O2 sensors on my 92 GXE auto. Is that true?

you only have one O2 sensor on your car, it's right in front of the catalytic converter

4th and 5th gens have several but not 3rd gens

Yes only one oxyegen sensor that is located on the y-pipe. You can purchase an oxygen sensor with OE connector by NTK which is NGK for like $75.00 shipped from www.foreignautoparts.cc or www.alloemautoparts.com

www.nopionline.com is cheaper, i think. look under the exhaust section to find it.

I thought Bosch was the OE for the 3rd Gen? Well, if not then it's must be for my 94 Gxe only. If anyone looking for Bosch:
http://www.nissanpartstore.com/
Got it for $60 shipped.
