Oil light indicator fixed!!! + brakepad question...
I took my car to the dealership and it is exactly that... oil pressure switch. I'm so glad that there was no engine damage! I asked them if they are sure that no oil got into the combustion chamber and they said yes. The indicator light is not on anymore.
I asked Nissan if my oil pressure was low and they said that it was. Does that have anything to do with fast track times? Seems like all my multiple 14.7 and 14.8 runs were at the end of the day when my oil indicator was being a b-itch!
Does that mean I need a lot oil pressure to run low ETs? haha
**********************************************
Now about brake pads... Nissan said that my fronts are down to 5/32. I currently have KVR carbon pads... but is there anything better for me to replace them with? These pads squeal quite a bit, and leave a LOT of brakedust. I am however more concerned about the squealing. What pads would be better for performance (and hopefully don't squeal)?
Thanks for any input.
