Lookig for replacement front brake pads for 2002 SE.

I am thinking of replacing my front brake pads on my 2002 Maxima.
I looked at www.courtesyparts.com site and they selling front OEM brake pads set for $50.
I was thinking to get better pads when the stock ones, but I don't want to pay much more than $50.

I looked at the http://www.southwestautoworks.com/ site and they have STILLEN Metal-Matrix Brake Font Pads for about $59.

Will this pads work with stock rotors on my 2002 SE? On their site they saying that this pad is designed for use with STILLEN Sport Rotors.

Why not get some Raybestos or other brand at your local auto store. AFAIK, there are no dust-free pads for the 5th gen. The local auto store can get you pads with a lifetime warranty for around $50. That way, when they wear out next time, you just take them back and get a new set for free. I do this all the time.

How much do you want for front Stillen pads?
And will they work with stock front rotors on my 2002 SE?

Thanks.

these aftermarket pads may not work well with stock rotors. Thats why you see ppl selling them. Avoid Raysbestos, and otehr Pep Boys brand, even though they got lifetime wtty. I'd say go with stock...

I just ordered some Brembo blanks from Nopi, and I also need some brake pads. What do you guys recommend I use with them? Nopi said to get OEM, but I thought aftermarket might be better. What brand, and where should I buy them?

Shortyb I sent you a PM. Please email me when you get a chance.

So you saying it is better no to use aftermarket pads with stock rotors? I thought alot of people here were replacing stock brake pads. I just want something that won't bring back the brake judder problem.

What should I use with my stock rotors? I want pads that will produce the least amount of brake dust possible. I like to keep my rims clean.
Our stock pads are ceramic, correct? What about the Metal Matrix and Greenstuff, redstuff? Some people said that Raybestos Quiet stop are good.

Found Raybestos Quiet Stop at the local PepBoy store and was thinking of getting them. Are those pads any good? Does anybody have any experience with them?
I can get stock ones too for about $50 from Courtesy, but I was thinking to get some better pads than stock.

It seems like people are saying good things about Porterfield R4S here, but they cost more money.
