pathfinder TB plate

I will have about 5 of these kits ready in a week ,probably a good gain for boosted maxes. You must get a 2001 PTB and adjust the continuity on the TPS sensor from PF adjustment to max adjustment, done with a normal multimeterand also you will want to take off the IACV on the throttle body(the gold thing on top with the vacumm hose)and plug up the vacum hole. And buy a PF gasket for $2 and buy small piece of gasket to put from plate to intake manifold ,this is better for you to get the gaskets because it will very depending on if you port the IM or not or how much.$105 shipped. Or you can just get the main adapter with bolts for $65 shipped.Just selling the main plate for now.You can get the PTB at www.car-part.com thank you Chris L.
IM JUST SELLING THE MAIN PLATE NOW $65 SHIPPED.

Guess there's no interest, i thought for sure the boosted people would show interest, in one of mardigrasmaxs threads he said there was a big power gain. I thought i would help and mayby make a little cash . I gave up my lunch breaks

I'm all over it.

I just need a few days to get the cash together.

I'll be dynoing my car later this month most likely, and hopefully I'll have it installed by then and you can use my dyno graph to show boosted gains. That should help your sales assuming it works well.

Thanks,
IanS

Mardigrasmax is the first one to do this , he's supercharged and the fastest known maxima on EARTH AT 11.9 @ 117 MPH! Im NA and i dont have it on now because im having problems with either fuel , air ,both or coils and im waiting to find that problem before i bolt it back on my car. I will always stay NA its a challange.............or i dont have money for boost.

Yeah I would like to see the Dyno results as well on this. IANSW any drawbacks with the mevi and supercharger. The reason I ask is because a couple of my friends stated that they will redline to quick if they get the Mevi with their existing superchargers. Is this true.

Uh...no.

I've never had a huge problem with it redlining too quick.

It is quicker, but not so much that it's undrivable or anything...that's what upshifting is for anyway....

yeah, thing bout new mods is hardly anyone has it, let alone a dyno for the mod... unless someone gets hardcore about selling these TBs, I doubt we'll see lotsa dynos from general folks, unfortunately...

I would definitely be interested in this, but unfortunately I looked at car-part.com and there's only *1* TB listed. If I get in on this GD, I may lose the TB to another GD member, and if I get the TB, this GD may not go through and I'd have a useless adaptor.

Can you think of any way around this dilemma? I'm really interested in doing this. Been thinking about it ever since I saw MardiGras' write up.

And that TB is $200!

I'm looking at other places.

car-part.com isn't the only parts site on the net.

I just paid for a request with a pretty good online site.

If I get more than 1 reply from the 200+ suppliers, then I'll pass them forward after taking 1st dibs.

Im sorry i should have been more clear,i said five because i didnt want 25 people all at once wanting this because if there was a problem with me making these i didnt want to screw anybody and have them setting with a throttle body. because im not a company just a regular person making these. What a person should do is PM me telling me you want one ill give you my address and you can then send the money then ill send it to you .I didnt make any yet because i dont need paperweights , one person has his reserved and it will be sent out this coming week. But like i was saying get ahold of me right before you buy the TB and i will get you one. Thank you

Im sorry some body smashed into my car when i was in it and took off, and later when they caught him he had no insurance and no money there is about $4000 in damage.
Well i hope that this helps , doesnt matter auto and manuel is no difference. And if its from a 3.5 liter and cable throttle,Pathfinder TB then you have it. If you get the vin # and call nissan parts they will tell you if its a 3.5 TB make sure its not a electronic TB.
One thing i noticed in mardigrasmax pictures is he doesnt have the IACV on top of his 2001 PTB but ive been told by a couple nissan parts department that all 2001 PTB have it but thats not a big deal , you just take the assembly of and plug the vaccum hole ,its gets in the way of are idle and its not needed. Also i believe the TPS cant be set right with it on. Set the TPS position with the TB of the car its impossible with it on the car , and is alot easier to do setting on a workbench out of the car. Sorry im behind ill probably send it out monday . thank you Chris L.

I'm in if it works for the 8.00 (maybe for the 7.00) and I can get a TB from IANSW! (or as I like to call him Mr. MEVI)

What makes you think I can get you a Pathfinder TB? I can't even find one myself yet for a decent price!

Sorry i dont have a digital camera, the main plate looks like mardigrasmaxs you could find it in a search, i probably will just sell the main plate now because its not worth the time to set the cnc up for such low demand i make the main plate using a bridgport, lathe and bandsaw . Trust me im in the hole on this, i dont have a problem supplying the main plate. If iansw would not mind he could show some pics.

Kris, you amy want to mention this. The throttle body has to be off a 3.5 liter Pathfinder, which is the 8/00 and AFTER. Before 8/00, they were the 3.3 liter engines and have almost the same throttle body as ours. So make sure that is clear, ok? Just watching out for everyone.....

Haven't had the time this summer, and I can't seem to find a Pathfinder TB for less than $200 anywhere.

Waiting until a good price comes along - I check all the local yards and car-part.com often...

Not sure about the barbs - haven't tried to put it on yet, obviously.

Check on your stock TB ,under it there should be two coolant and one vacumm , i think the 95-96 only need that barb . If you dont have the vacumm hose underneath then you dont need the barb. If not i can fix it if you would like.

not both i will sell the main one with bolts for $65 and i will sell the other one for $25 extra with no barb in it . It would probably be easier to use a t -fitting and get the vacumm from the intake and plugg up the bottom and then you wouldnt need the $25 piece. Ill put my address on your PM give your screen name and all your info on my PM and when you send money thanks.

Too late! I already have one of our machinists making me a CNC'ed adapter plate. Two of 'em, actually.
