l've had this problem since day one, my seat belt dash light comes on when it wants, even though my seat belt is firmly attached, then the chime will come on @ anytime.
Any sugestions on a fix?

 

Yep, happens to me to every once in a while. But my chime doesn't come on...thank god...that would **** me off.

 

yeah that happens to me too, usually it goes away if i tug on the belts but sometimes it stays on for a while

 

Mine does the exact same thing, chime and all. As if the stupid motorized seat belts aren't annoying enough on their own.

 

Well we all have the same problem here, now to find a fix!!!

 

seat belt rail...there's a limiter switch. basically tells the system to stop the chime and the light because the belt has been retracted. if this switch is dead then you'll get that problem. either go to your dealer and have them fix it..(lifetime warranty on seat belts and related components) or bypass it all together.

woohoo search is my friend./ might take it back to nissan and have them fix it. Yes i would be driving and bame, ding dong ding dong, red light while driving? wtf all my seat belts are connected.. thanks clee for clearing my problem real qick, just took me 40 sec.
