Well folks...here it is...
THIS is the engine I had built out in Cali...
Its FINALLY done & on its way to New Jersey!!!
Should take about 3 days to be up & running in my 2k Max...
Then it's time for some tuning & shakedown runs...
I expect to be running low 10's by next week!!
Tell me what you think of my new setup...
Oh BTW, for those who dont have much knowlege on the matter:
It's a Twin Turbo AND Supercharged 2.6L DOHC 24V inline 6.
They tell me it should make OVER 1000HP and OVER 1000lb-ft!!
Pretty Badass, huh?

while i was waiting for the motor to be built...
i had the car back-halfed...
had a 16-point roll cage put it...
customized it for RWD...
bought some monster slicks...

Got PLENTY O' BRAKE work done!
It was built buy Tom Graichen of TG Import Engines in Alhambra, CA....
Cost me $6,000 for the engine, $7500 to be built, and another $9500 in turbo/SC hardware & accessories....
Total cost of the buildup was about $27,000 for the motor alone.

 

I wish I can put a RB26DETT in my car.

HOT DAMN!! So your basically putting a tweaked Skyline GT-R engine in your Max?

What about the transmission? And the fact that the engine is for RWD and your Max is FWD? Have you converted your Max to RWD?

Is the Max gonna be drivable (street legal)??

I converted the Max to RWD as i stated in a prior post...
Was a pain in the anus...but its a pretty clean job...
It will be streetable...but not "street legal"...
I'm charging $500 a mile for rides...

Man, I read it, but I still can't believe you're getting an RB26DETT installed in your Maxima.

If your install goes well, I would seriously consider dropping a (relatively stock) skyline motor in my car.

I hope that gem fits.

I can't believe how long you guys took to realize (and I guess you still haven't) this engine isn't going into his car.....You guys are to easy....The first clue should have been when he called this RB26DETT an in-line 6, which he guessed wrong....
