Finally Done modding!!! Maxima is complete :-)

Doesnt it feel good when all of your paycheck goes in the savings account?? To me it does It was fun modding the car but I guess now i will be on the forum selling parts and browsing for other nice maximas.

Anyone else ready to quit?

Re: Finally Done modding!!! Maxima is complete :-)

Must be a nice feeling. I keep trying to quit, but I just can't do it. My car looks like a theft recovery right now because of all the projects, oh well. I'll quit someday.

BTW, your decals will be ready soon, the little letters were a little tricky to cut.

Well, I guess it's harder for me since my car is an integral part of my business (or that's what I tell myself). I am working on saving for a house now, so maybe I should cut back. But I just keep thinking of ways to make more money...

Well your story is a little different :-) I would get a house first and go back on modding the car?

I only have a few more things, and then I'm calling it quits. I gotta start saving for a new car. The Maxima is starting to get old! It's already almost 7 years old.

I do not think ill be stopping anytime soon. My car is only 2 years old and only has 30,000 miles on it. I am a 19 yr old sophmore in college. I will keep my maxima for a LONG time. Modding my car is like a hobby. I love the attention, and the enjoyment it gives me. Modding my maxima is the only other thing i like "doing" besides women and of course attending my classes at ga tech.

PS..OSS your car looks great. It gave me inspiration 2 yrs ago back when my car was stock.

My car is almost where i want it and im thinking that after this summer it may be the end of the modding for me, or at least for big stuff, and if i find a deal on something ill prolly jump on it. But im plannin on slowing down and saving up for another car to have some fun with...im thinkin M3 . Even when i stop moddin tho i will never sell my max, its my first car and i plan on taking it to the grave with me .

I call BS

although looking at your car I can't really think of anything else that I might want to add.

I have a long way to go to just keep myself satisfied in wanting to keep it. I may still upgrade to a 2k2 sometime next year. Or wait until G35s loose their value.

Car isn't worth much anymore, mods will soon be worth just as much as the car, how sad. I can't believe I spent so much money on it already and now i feel that since I started - I might as well go all the way and get everything I want for it.. I think another 2-3 grand will make it perfect Hopefully I won't get any crazy problems with it and it'll break on me. But if I had the money, I'd just keep it as a second car.
