ok well i finally got my digicam back from my lil bros and decided to take some videos... well actually i did it so you guys can listen to the sound. Alot of people are askin, "how does it sound like?"

really? i just tested it... it seems to work. You don't have to cut/paste it. You will get a message like this from the hosting service before you can actually download the file:

I get that far, but then WMP won't play the file. If I right click and save as I get a .htm file instead of the avi I think it's time for some real hosting

I'll comment in order:

The shifter play is an issue with the STS, so that's normal. The shifter sits lower than stock, so you have more leverage to move the linkage from side to side.

The whine sounds pretty bad. My transmission only makes any sort of whine in first gear while I'm driving through parking lots. I've never heard any car sound like that while accelerating through the gears.

Wow Nadir, I didn't know it was THAT bad....I remember that when you took me for a quick ride around the parking lot. It's a lot more noticible once you're in a higher gear like in your video.

Are you going to have the tranny checked out? (or go 240sx like me...j/k )

 

i've very sure it's not the STS because i've had that before the differential bearings and everything was a tight fit. There is SO MUCH play it's scary now. Blah I'm just waiting for my exedy clutch to get shipped out so I can do soemthing about the problem.
