I have a 98GXE with 120,000km (72 000 miles)
I noticed rust appearing on the front of the hood. Right at the front of the hood where the metal is bent.
I went to Krown Rust 2 years ago but have read that rust proofing has of yet not been proven to help.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can stop the rusting?

Is this normal for a 98 to start rusting? Park outside all year in Toronto, Canada but wash the car regularly in the winter( 1-2 a month)

read your owners manual. i believe that our cars have a paint warranty. if your paint has come off where it's rusting, then maybe they'll cover it.
