About 4 of us NW guys all did it together....mtrai760 being the biggest contributor.

<thanks again, bro>

That is the auto console piece...I didn't have an aluminum trim piece for 5spd, so we just reused it and glued the leather boot to the bottom of it...looks good, works great.

(It only screws on one way)

ACT Clutch
Fidanza Flywheel
**** engraved by www.knobmeister.com

Reverse lights working
P/N switch working
Cruise control working

what else do you want to know?

I was so happy when it started up and we tested all the gears and they all worked.

I think I peed a little.

im probably gonna go with the fidanza from matt, as far as clutch i dunno yet but im leaning toward Exedy..

I could have it done at a shop for ~900-1000 but if i can round up a buncha helping hands and do it myself then im all for it

did you by all parts individually or did you have a donor? Heres my donor Only problem is that mine is abs, donor car is not so im still unclear as to what needs to be changed

Starting it up and diving it after your all done realizing it shifts perfectly has to be the best feeling..

Congrats! I bet your stoked. You're going to have soo much fun with the new transmission. There will be times where you get tired of shifting but you will NEVER regret it. I love my 5spd 10 times more then my old auto to this day.

3 weeks because the tranny wouldn't shift at first, then wouldn't shift into only 3rd, then we were misssing the banjo bolt for the clutch lines and had to wait 3 days to get it, then I was working f'ed up hours, etc, etc.

Mtrai760 did his first one in 2 days, mostly by himself.

To the person that asked about the ****, I think it says in my first post - but goto www.knobmeister.com

Man, I'm so jealous. I'm still looking for lsd/abs axles and waiting for my clutch/flywheel from the Exedy clutch group deal.

A bolt with a hole in the side of it, and a hole in the bottom of it. Goes on the clutch lines on the brass block between the 2 rubber hoses.
