Lots of questions, 1 thread

Okay, so I got a couple issues, but I dont wanna make like 15 threads. So here is my first issue, does my 98 Max SE come with a 5mph bumper guard garauntee? My friends were playing a trick on me, and they were like 2" away from rear bumper, and they scared me then hit it. I didnt see any scratches or damage, and they probably werent even going 2mph(it was slow roll). Also, I am thinking of buying 2k2 SE rims, but the tires have 44k on them. Is that okay for the RE92's? I need another 10-15k outta them before I get new tires. Also, they have a curb scratch on em, will it cost a lot of money to fix it? 1 more thing, I have a PR CAI with stock filter (monsterflow?), and I was wondering, should I keep the monsterflow? and try to clean it, or get a K&N cone filter. Thanks for listening to all of this, and your feedback.

What do you mean by 5mph bumper "guarantee"? Yes, it has 5mph bumpers, but I don't know about any kind of guarantee.

Measure the tread depth left on the RE92s. There's no way to judge the condition of a tire without looking at it.

You can clean the monsterflow if you want. Personally, I am more partial to the oiled cotton types of filters than the foam types. I would get a K&N.

There's a shop in Columbia called Metro MotorWorks and they will fix the curb rash for $90...I think the turnaround time is 2 days...but it may be more now since the weather is getting better

Thanks for the posts. By "garauntee" I just meant that they can resist up to 5mph bump. I didnt know how to say it. I'll probably get the K&N too. The rims...they pass the "penny test" (pretty close) up to the top of Lincolns head. And $90 is gonna be too much for the scratch, ill run with it a little while then fix it. Thanks for the info!
