2-12"subs VS. 1-15"sub

I have 2-12" subs in my 99 SE. The subs are Kicker Comps (NOT VR) and i have a 600watt Lanzar Vibe amp. I'm thinking of buying Kicker Solobaric L7's (the square-shaped sub).. Should i get 1-12" L7 or 1-15" L7? I'm just curious because i really want to get a new setup. and at the same time, save some trunk space as well. Any ideas on whether i should get the 12" L7 or the 15" L7? I definetely want to buy just one sub and a nice amp.
What's better? What would you do?

I really don't know that much about sound systems. When you say it hits 145 dbs, what does that mean? all i want is for my bass to pound like a muthaf****r.. get what i'm sayin'?? SO are you saying that the 12"L7 with the Kicker Amp sounds ALOT better than my 2-12" kicker comps with a Lanzar Vibe 600watt amp? Please let me know..

Yes, in other words that L7 12 rocks dude. I've got 2 Kicker Comp VR 12's and I only hit 141db on an outlaw run with a Phoenix Gold XS2500 amp. That rating is how much sound you are putting out. Get a L7 12 and juice it up with some power and you'll be wakin the neighbors up.

ok an L7 12" sub is rated 750 watts rms, thats max load power i think. they are dual voice coil subs. 15" subs SOMETIMES sound sloppy, and needs a huge box to let all the air through... if i was you id get 2 12" L7 and a kx1200.1 amp from kicker or something = to that amp that can run those subs efficently. also get the box ported (rectangular ports work best with L7's)

yeah, the guy at the store told me that if i want the 15" L7, then my new box will be Bigger than my 2-12" box. I was really hoping to get better subs so that i can save more space. I think i'll go with 1-12" L7... Still deciding.. and also still trying to sell my subs, box, and amp for $200, is that a good deal?
