any way to make the rear windows go lower than halfway?

Is this possible without paying a large amount of money?

It's not possible either way. Just looking at the profile of your windows and rear doors will tell you why.

If there is a solution to this, then i apologize for jumping in with the answer above

I dont think there is enough space for the glass in the door w/ the window motor and lifting mechanism. I really hate it, but what can I do....

I'm not 100% sure, but there is a mechanism inside the door (sort of like a child-protection thing) That stops it at a certain spot. My friend had a 99 pathfinder and asked the dealership to take it out because he didnt have any kids. But like I said, im not 100% sure for the Maxima. But I believe wat soundmike said is true, if it can go down further, it can't be too much.

Look at your rear windows. Now look at the rear wheel cutout in the door. Doesn't really look like there's room to lower all the way...

It's against Federal Law for them to "go lower"... so no dealer is going to help 'modify' them to do so.
