I just watched "Miss Congenieality(Sp?)" the other day with my GF!

They have a shot with a 95 Maxima in it ... its Well over 40 seconds!

Anyone else know of any flicks???

In Menace II Society, the main characters steal, or attempt to steal, a Black 3rd gen with aftermarket rims.

 

On 60 minutes they were in a parking lot and there was a 5th gen. They panned past it. I yelled "MAXIMA!!!!" I was so happy, hehehe. Damn, i love these cars too much.

 

In the movie, "Whatever it Takes" (teen drama, blah), there is a scene where it shows the front of a high school and there is a bule 4th gen Max out front, pulling away from the curb. I remember yelling, "Maxima!"

 

ive seen maximas in two movies:
the Sixth Sense when the boy goes the dead girl house before/after the funeral - black 97 max

Autumn in New york (a **** gear chick-flick my girl made me watch)when Wynona Rideher crosses the street - another black max 95/96

 

If anybody in here has seen Menace II Society and has a 3rd gen, you'll notice that th horn starts honking when they break into it as a result of the security system, but has anyone noticed that the sound of that horn is nothing like a Maxima's horn?

 

The 3rd gen eclipse is the star of the show from the trailer that I watched. The show looks all right but it doesn't compare to the car movies that they make in HKG. If you want to see a sample get the old Jackie Chan "Thunderbolt" movie to see some cars in action. Does anybody remember the car chase scenes in Miami Vice? It was cool when they had the white Ferrari Testarossa racing on the street against the Lamborghini.

Hmmm now that you mention the horn honking..I do remember that car in that movie and I saw the 4th gen in Miss Congeniality.

I just saw one. Its in Romeo must Die, about 20 minutes into the movie, the big Maurice is talking to Allyah outside her shop when a 97-99 Black Maxima SE passes by for about two seconds. ( I love DVD players ).

 

there was a 4th gen 97-99 Gold maxima GXE or GLE , in the car wash scene of "Bring it On"

 

oh. one more thing.
There should be a movie coming out soon, that was shot in LA, right next to UCLA. Two people walking down the side of a cemetary,
they were shooting oh say 7:30 am. and i was driving by in my Max, but i revved the engine pretty loud when i was next to them, and messed up their take.. and i got flipped off. hahah.

There's a 3rd gen Max in Lawnmower Man. It's in about 3-4 scenes showing both the interior and the exterior.

Almost all the cars in that movie were nissans. Saw alot of sentras in it. The fat guy drove his moms red 300zx and sinbad had an i30.

 

Oh yeah. In "Gone in Sixty Seconds", 21 minutes into the movie, there is a store called MAXIMA.

 

In the movie "The Wash" there is a 95/96 max being cleaned in the background ....Shaq pulls up in the benz....I saw it tonight and wanted to post it....

 

Wow, this thread is ancient!! Signs has a 5th gen and I cant remember for sure, but I thought i saw another 5th gen in Triple X. There was also a 4th gen in Spider Man.

Wow. Anyway, there was a 4th gen in the beginning of Swimfan. Still can't beleive I actually saw that movie.

There was a neptune blue 4th gen in one ofthe por..i mean short movies i directed..

 

There is a gold 5th gen when Ice Cube fight with the other dude, the car is parked in the background.

 

I saw one on a show on vh1 about Tommy Lee, 5th gen, and also in an old No Doubt video, third gen gxe.

The car has a cameo. It's not just background. Chauncy (Clifton Powell) even says, "Black Nissan Maxima..."



It's weird how good they thought the wheels looked. They could not have been bigger that 16's!

 

OT- The actor Robert Blake got arested going to his house in LA and the rolled his body guard on live tv and three cops in plain clothes got out of a pebble beige 4th gen w/ no lights and tinted windows and put him in the back of the Max. I thought this is signifigant for Max owners. Cops=Max drivers! Cool.

 

in the Mothman Prophecy, there is an emerald green 95-96 GLE that turns onto the road and you can see it's tails. i think it has a gold package. i whispered kind of loudly to my g/f that it was a maxima and she kind of looked at me like i'm out of my mind.

Not a Maxima, but caught me off guard when Al Pacino goes racing down the highway in "Heat" in a J30. and in the Movie "Thinner" the main guy drives an old Q45.

 

there is a fourth gen in The Mothman Profecies. a couple of times, i believe.

 

In CKY 1 or 3 theres a whole skit with bam margera and bran ripping around in a 4th gen maxima.

 

Its CKY1, and in CKY2k with the baseball scene, you can see it in the background. I beleive this was either Brandon's or Jess's car. It can also be seen in a skating part too. They even had clears on it!!
