rear side markers questions...

rear side markers questions...

I installed the clear side markers and i worry because the rear side markers dont fit perfectly... why? I have to worry?

MALAKA...did u seal urs with anything cause i put mine in like last week and they fogged up already i have to heat them i guess to get the water out and then seal them with silicone or some****...make sure u do that

There are 3 little rubber sticker things on the stock ones. Take those off and super glue them onto the new clears...they should fit snug after that.

Oh, and make sure you put RTV Silicon sealant around where the clear meets the white to avoid fogging. Do it outside if you can, I almost from the smell.

Oh, I let mine dry/cure fully for a couple of days but overnight at least.

Mine fogged up as well. Instead of using the 3 rubber peices from my OEM side markers, I just put Silicone in those spots. It has worked great so far. Mine were loose and rattled without it.

Depends on where you got em I think--I got mine off Ebay per other .org members recommendation and have not sealed em nor transferred the rubber pieces from the stock parts, and mine fit tight and do not fog.

That's where I got mine (Custom Maxima). I don't know if they would have leaked without sealing them - I didn't want to find out. I have had them on for a few months and no leaks at all.

Apparently, the fogging is a real b!tch to get out.

i have had no problems with fogging with the sidemarkers i got from custommaxima... however i do have the fitting problem... it doesn't fit as snug as the stock ones... but i dont mind it too much...
