the jaws of life...lol
Mines were really bad and I'm gonna just replace my strut mounts but it's really easy, 14mm on the good 'ole socket and should be on in 20 minutes.

14 mm socket and extension. Take off the three bolts on both sides. Fit the bar into place. Put bolts back in place and then torque to the correct specs. 10 minutes, 8 of them in the adjusting

Don't think so but I did read around here that if you jack up the car and then take the bolts off and put the brace on, you get a better result then if you do it normally. You can just do it without it being jacked up.

when you install the ftsb make certain that you are on level ground. take off the three bolts and install the bish, retighten and go out for a spin.. to test and feel the difference take a test ride around the block before installing the fstb, go through a turn at around 30-35 and watch your front end twist. now install the bish and take the same road at the same speed , feel the difference

OMG...come on people...if you jack up the car and loosen the strut tower bolts the damn strut will fall out from under the car..THINK PEOPLE, THINK!!!
this thread is way out of proportion....simply undo the 3 bolts, install the bar, make adjustments and re-install, SIMPLE!

heres my theory y u gotta jack it up (prolly stupid but sound right) when u jack up the car u release all the stress from the strut towers. once u put the bar in and drop it. the bar will be tighter (from the stress). as for installing (wanting to jack it up) just jack the front until the tires are barely off the ground and installed them. sorry if i sound stupid but oh well. oh yea i got the one from ebay (2000-2002)where it was 20 shipped.

I put mine on when the car was on the ground and never had a problem...
Didn't realize what a difference it made until I took it off and drove it tho... OMG, I can't imagine trying to drive without one now
