I have a copy of the html files. If you need them I can email them to you. I am using PIAA Xtreme 55W H3 bulbs, 4150K, for the fogs which look very close to HIDs:

I upgraded my fogs to PIAA Crystal Ions and don't regret it. However, if you are going to do this, you are going to need a phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket. It will take you about 15-30 min to change both bulbs.

The writeup can be found here: www.win.net/audtatious/audio

I just finished this project 10 minutes ago, along with a good wash and wax, in fact, I changed the high beams to piaa 9005 xtreme white plus and the fogs to xtreme whites, the fogs were more challenging than the high beams, but not that hard at all.

Do these Xtreme Whites throw out more light than stockers, or do they just add the HID-like color?

I wouldn't mind upgrading mine, but I'd like to know how much light they throw out compared to stock.

thanks

IMO they are brighter and match the color better, not sure if brighter is actually throwing out more light, but they are brighter.
