Fast&Furious MAX on ebay. Valued @ $75K!!!

Browsing ebay, I came across this auction for the 99 Max as seen in F&F:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6400

I must say this car looks sweet. I'm not into ricers but this one is impressive. I would'nt even classify this as a ricer. IMO, its a racer!!!

The links show the details! very interesting.

Re: Fast&Furious MAX on ebay. Valued @ $75K!!!

Its got only 265hp and probably atleast an extra 500lbs over stock. It would be only be impressive if the only thing added to it was the supercharger suspension exhuast and brakes and it were lightened. The rest is just junk slowing it down.

I hate how they say that it is currently the most modified maxima known. It's a nice color, that is pretty much it.

i am not one to hate at all... in fact, i give that maxima props... one Main reason is that it put our car the Maxima in the spot light in the fast and furious... out of all the cars Vince could have drove in the Movie, they picked a Maxima.... just goes to show you Nissan is the shiett....(((Maxima!!!)))

i would buy it if i had the money. I think it would be pretty cool to have the only maxima that was a main car in a popular movie. Sure, it isnt all that great, but i think it would be pretty tight to own.

I think some of you are looking at it the wrong way. The audio stuff isn't just there to add weight and make the car slow, it's the other way around. The super-charger was added to make up for the extra weight of the audio stuff

I'd rather own the Mustang Steve McQueen drove in Bullit.

Or the Gulf Porsche he drove in the movie LeMans.

At least Steve McQueen put his a$$ on the line and actually drove those cars.

That car's been on eBay before... and the auction text was a lot more professional, and the guy didn't have 1 feedback, and it didn't link to a geocities site for pictures of the car in question.

Not like anyone was going to bid, but I wouldn't touch this one with a ten foot pole.

According to the first link, which was copied to most of the other ones "Stillen, who added their supercharger kit and other accessories, including a Formula one braking system from AP Racing. The car produced 221 hp to the wheels." 221hp to the wheels!!! What exactly did they do, buy a custom made larger pulley or something? "14.6 1/4 mile", wow thats just impressive, it's funny cause they advertise like its a fast car or something. Thats pretty sad when a forced induction v6 needs to watch out for vtec civics with bolt ons.
