I've heard both sides of this. Some people swear by the spray paint. Some buy the type that you have to brush on. They both work the same. I ound using the spray was easier and gave me a better look. No matter what paint you get get the HIGH TEMP paint ok? I painted the rusted parts of my rotor too. If you get paint on the disc part of the rotor (the part your pads come in contact with.) just get some brake disc cleaner and it comes off easy. I was amazed at how easy it was.

red, get the caliper paint from pepboys or autozone. bout %3000 percent chaeper and its easier. it cost me 2.99 a bottle. it sprays one and is high temp. do a few coats. i was able to get 8 calipers done w/ 6 coats each plus a valve cover looks nice with it. check my homepage

it is the folia-tec brush on kit.

to imlikewoe- Ive used both spray on hi temp paint and folia tec. the spray on stuff will work good and last long BUT get a can of brakleen and spray it for a few seconds and watch that pretty red paint blast off as if it was still wet. before I repainted mine with folia-tec, They used to be red using hi temp paint and it only took me a couple minuts spraying it off with the brakleen and I didnt even have to touch the calipers, it just litterally stripped the paint off completely. folia-tec resists chemicals so you dont have to worry about telling every shop you go to not use any chemicals to clean your brakes.
