Someone please tell me the 0-60 time for a 2003 Maxima Se 6 Speed

 

0-60 in 6.0 sec

Top speed is uncertain, but is supposedly drag limited at 147mph.

 

very fast..VERY VERY FAST

 

I've heard 0-60 6.0 for the 6-speed, 6.5 for the slush-box. Top speeds range from 145 to 156 depending on who you talk with. 147 sounds about right for the SE, lower for the GLE bacuse of a rev limiter.

Question - unless you live in Montana or other ultra-rural state, where the heck can you get enough road to reach that speed, other than a race track? Certainly not in NJ!!!!!

an auto 2k2 SE hit 147

the 6sp is capable of hitting 155

 

Per Car & Driver (cause its all I have to go on):
0-60: 6 seconds flat
top speed: 145mph (drag limited)

 

I did a timed mile at 145, and it felt like she had a little more to go. I am automatic, and My 0-60 is 6.42 sec.

 

how did u get past 130? I think many other 02 autos would like to know also. Yes I am an SE and no my car would not gain after 130. No rev limiter it was basically like hitting a brick wall. Please enlighten me.

You right man... I have 2k3 and my top speed is 130mph exactly!!

 

i have a GLE and it hits at 130 exactly too. but i know i can't go faster than that, cuz its a GLE. oh wells.

 

maybe he keeps it in 3rd gear longer, like over drive off. Im not sure if the 02-03's have an overdrive, but on my 00 i hit the od off and i can easy get to 130.

 

I only got to 130-135, but my girl got scared so I had to slow down. I'm not sure how much more it had to go, but it wasnt pulling very much.

 

I dunno how. Maybe there is something wrong with the GPS Unit I was using. It said my peak speed was 144.93 mph. I did this on the FL turnpike at 2am on the section between ft pierce and ft. drum, Its alot of long straightaways and a couple of small hills. My old 2k1 hit 135 (measured w/ the same GPS unit) and basically stopped. This one (2k3 SE) felt like it was goin faster. I also have 235/50/17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, which are a bit taller than stock, but not much. I will just have to try again and see what I get.

 

I have had mine to 147, road limited.

 

2003 6 spd. I hit 140

 

2k2 Auto, I hit 135 before slowing down. She felt like she had alot more to give.

 

The ECU in the 02-03 Maxima limits the car to 130mph but the car can do more, and sometimes the ECU does not limit the car which would explain why you can hit the limited wall at 130mph or other times get up to 147mph.

 

If you are going for top speed and have a 6mt, use 5th gear. I have a top speed of 139 since I got my nav/gps but came up on a car fast so I had to let off.

You're the man, Hotshot! I never should have done that 8th gear-delete mod.

 

is the 8 spd a standard option? ive got the shift paddles with my PDK.

 

 

i hit 130. then i got HIDS then hit 155

 

I hit 128 with 4 people in the car in a 2000SE. I dont think I've gone past 115 in my 03 6 spd - wasnt trying to either - loving the thread bump

 

My car dynoed past 130 stock.

 

I got new pushrods.

 

Wow! All these people be speeding too much.

 

yeah...my wife talked me into the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th gear deletion mod and and I had to pay a premium for it............somehow feel like i got ripped off................oh well....at least i got the turbine powered heat tracking side-view mirrors.....BLINDSPOT.....what blindspot...not with these babies!!!!!

That's it. That's all she does. Acceleration just stops at 130. I guess the ECU just closes down the throttle enough to limit you to 130.

 

I got to 148mph on a closed public course while being chased by a smokie.

 

The AT is limited to 130.

 

my 02 6spd has been 0-157+ to the top of 5th...as far as an auto goes not sure..0-60 5.9sec
