Finally got the Drop. [pics]

First i want to thank Tom (njmaxseltd) for the install and the help on picking out that what i should buy. Also note to people getting suspension work done, take out the system out of your trunk before hand, it will make things allot easier.

Now i went with AGX KYB's all-round along with Progress Springs. I also picked up the rear Motivational mounts to add some rear suspension travel. I also picked up some KYB boots and a pair of Front Strut Bearings.

As for the ride, i love it. I almost want to go as far as to say that this is what the "SE" suspension should have been. It takes small bumps very well and you can feel the bigger ones much more (have to be careful), but that’s expected. Handling is great, you can feel how the progressive springs are working, the car starts to lean a little and then it just stop leaning, thus body roll has been reduced big time. Brake dive is practically gone and so is that annoying lean between shifts with the ACT Clutch, traction has also improved. The drop is not the biggest but its good enough and it leaves enough ground clearance for me to get around.

If you want good handling and you cant stand a bone jarring suspension and are not looking for that slammed look I highly recommend this setup.

The suspension will settle a bit too, so more of a drop will come.

Now i went with AGX KYB's all-round along with Progress Springs. I also picked up the rear Motivational mounts to add some rear suspension travel. I also picked up some KYB boots and a pair of Front Strut Bearings.

I've been waiting for my progress springs for 3 weeks. I ordered them from Cattman.Com and aparently they are on back order. Where did you order yours from and how long did you wait?

Also, im just getting the springs, do i need those rear motivational mounts???? what do they do, how much $$$ and where do i get 'em from. Also are they hard to put on b/c just me and this random guy are going to put the springs on

Oh yea the car looks good

I wired up some LED's, but its not worth the time a effort to do. Im working on another idea right now.

Yea the back is lower, but that might have to do with the 2 12" i have in the back.

I picked up the springs and shocks from Cattman, but i was lucky got the last set of springs they had, i ordered mine may 30th. and they got here on June 5th.

The mounts can be gotten here.
http://www.motivational.net
they replace the stock mounts and all you have to do is rearrange the bushing order.

OK, but why were you concerned about additional rear suspension travel? Do others have problems with "bottoming out" the rear suspension when using AGX KYB's & Progress spring setups?

From the motivational.net web site:
Rear Shock Mounts
Get over an INCH more of rear suspension travel!!! Every '95-'99 200SX/Sentra that's lowered will greatly benefit with these new rear upper mounts! Also fits '99-'00 G-20 and '95-'99 Maxima! For use with STOCK type lowering springs $125/pair.
