Do they make FSTB for my car?

I have a 92 Max SE with the VE engine and I can't seem to find a strut bar for it. I called Courtesy Nissan and they said that the FSTB for my model does not fit the VE engine. They also said they don't know if any other years will fit mine. I was wondering if any1 has put a FSTB on their 92 SE VE engine. Thanks

Courtesy doesn't sell the proper FSTB any longer.

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...Category_Code=

Just get one one ebay, make sure it has the proper end brackets.

I am slightly confused.

The link you posted still works. The FTSB fits 1999 to 2003 for $59..

Will this work?

like randy said get the bar with the bracket thats straight up.

I had a cheap bar with the bracket that was curved and although it fit you had to move an air condition line. I later got a bar with the bracket thats straight up and it cleared everything fine.

here are some pics of mine

no its not a nismo bar but I like the way that looks over the original tag (otto)

the bar is for a 2003 max and I got it off of ebay...they sell them at procarparts.

I like these much better than the Courtesy bar I bought a couple years back. I had to modify mine. These look and fit better.

I got a FSTB for my 93 VE 5spd for $12 on ebay.

Then again, it had $12 shipping. Total cost for the strut brace was $24.

Did you get the car with the bracket straight up for $12 or did you get the curve one?

The only one I found that is straight up was $39 from procarparts.

If you can give me the name of the seller, that would help.

Thanks

are you talking about the otto like mine? if so then go ahead and spend the extra on it. I think it looks so much better than the other bars (I have one of the plain bars too)

It looks just like the Stillen bar at a fraction of the cost.

I got the cheapest one, too (it's the solid chrome one) and I had to move my AC line. I like the otto one better with the slots on it and the correct brackets. I will probably get one when the temp here gets below 100. It's too hot in my garage to do non-essential work.

I think mine was from procarparts. I like the otto better, but didn't wanna spend that much if I could get it cheaper.

I think procarpart has the otto one on Ebay but they go for $39 plus shipping.

This is probably the cheapest way to go to get the better fit bar.

I got mine off of ebay from procarparts. It was a little more expensive than most bars now a days at $58 shipped but it was what I wanted.

there is another bar no ebay (sometimes) that is a little cheaper and has the correct brackets but the regular style bar with Nissan etched into it. Its not a whole lot cheaper than the Otto though with the shipping the guy charges.

here is a couple of pics of the bar.
