what do i have to do to get behind it? never actually wired anything there... i have a friend helping me that has experience but if u could tell me what to do that would be cool!! i forgot but someone told me they just stuffed the wires in where the fuse is and thats it... which fuse should i use (which # i mean) any help is apreciated!!
I would also like to know how to wire the neons to an open slot in the fuse box. Although mine's a 4th gen., I presume it's going to be similiar. Enlighten us Kev aka hamsuplo?
Since the lights are going to be in the same places SkyMax Jr. has his, you can run the wires behind the plastic part. On the right side, wire behind and over the ECU (rear of center console) and meet up with the other wire.
Cut the cig lighter adapters because you won't need those anymore. Next, splice the passenger wires with the driver side wires. Get male connectors and attach them to the ends (one + and one -). Cut the positive male connector in half (because it's too thick to fit in the fuse). Connect a female wire with a flat circle metal piece to the negative.
Last step, plug the + to an open fuse slot in the middle row (there are two halves to a slot, plug into the top half). Now, unscrew a screw around the area and put the screw through the flat metal piece. Screw back down the screw and you're all done.

It's trial and error. With hints on the fuse box connection.
