Couple Turbo questions...

1. Is a twin-turbo application possible? Has it ever been attempted? I have designed and drawn up a few models that appear that they would work with some custom changes under the hood. I am in engineering school and understand measurements and the mathematical/ construction concepts, therefore don't poo poo my ideas just yet. I doubt myself more than anyone else, so don't lash out at me for this. I am just trying to get an opinion or two.
:
-One design is of a split intake with snails on either side of the engine running off their own exhaust manifolds.
-Another is of sequential snails pounding the PSI. I know the internal fortitude of the engine would have to be redone, but hey thats half the fun.

2. What does the exhaust manifold look like on a turbo max? Is it possible to make by oneself? I would like to know in order to play around with designs and measurements to maybe make a custom kit for myself. Are the manifolds purchaseable?

3. What kind or reconstruction would have to be done to the interior of the engine to withstand major a$$ boost?

4. What king of control changes will be needed in the way of computers? The chip and control modules would have to change, what are some of the companies that do this, other than Jet, and dynomax?

If anyone has answers to any of these, let me know.
Thank you very much.

whats the point of TT if no one on here hasn't even maxed out the possibilities of a single setup?? and also just because you pop on two turbos doesn't mean you'll make anymore subsequent boost than a well designed single turbo setup. maybe some sort of sequential setup would be nice, but I still don't see the point. more trouble than worth IMO, just my $.02

Addae is just mad that even if he added two turbos to his Teg, it would still have 77fwhp at 17k rpms and 34ft lbs of torque.

Agree. I'd probably say no point in going TT. Like Turbo97SE making 400 FWHP. I find that pretty impressive. Now that he has his internals done (hopefully compression was lowered, didn't read about that) he should be able to push 500 fwhp.
BTW, Not ALL TT guys want to single turbo. True that the 300ZX is nearly impossible to do single turbo w/out doing and RB engine swap, but the dyno queens like supras aren't satisfied w/ having a 500-600 rwhp TT setup so they get one huge turbo.. I feel there's no point in having one huge turbo on the streets.
Jamax, I'd say either
1: buy a TT motor and do a conversion,
2: Buy a TT (car)
3: max out the max motor by doing internals and lower that compression so you can push more w/ a bigger single turbo.
Good luck
