That looks really nice, I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't wait to see the dyno. Any idea on how much the kit is going to cost?

they dont hmmm, I put that under my hood, we going to the track, the freeway or something. Its just not going to sit under my hood for kicks.

I did go to the track this weekend and got some 2.0 60's but no better then 13.8s, they prepped the **** out of that track and got some serious torque steer. On that same note the trend on the track that I went to was Turbo/Nitrous combination. I have the nitrous kit in my garage so I will be in that boat to full fill that 3k-5K no torque gap which will bring me to Turbo specs or close to it torque wise.

Look at the bottom of the car, how would it be possible to neatly tuck two 2.5 or 3 inch pipes under there? I looked at it myself and man thats a hell of a tight fit. The only Turbo kit that I seen that is very unique is SX7rs, but i have not seen pics of up under his car, the way he has his setup the air will run right into the turbo making boost quite a bit more then its suppose to. Thats just my opinion but thats also the way I see Supras face their turbo inlets. The car looks good Redmax.

no driving in DC for you!!! It'll definently be interesting to see how they resolve the clearance issue but still looks so sweet, dying to see it!

Yes Sx7R has a very nice set up, but from what i heard hes dealing with alot of heating issues due to where the turbo is located

unfortunately, I do not know what the cost of the turbo will be. this project is still somewhat in development. There have only been 2 cars done. For instance, the first one i believe has a t04e and mine I believe is a t04b for faster spool up. I do know that Greg will be taking the photos for the press release in Turbo magazine today or tomorrow So the kit will be out soon. My car will be tuned to 6 psi. Because I'm auto I don't want to push more than 275 to the wheels untill I get my new tranny.

Want to see something really odd? Try to get a picture of a Nascar exhaust system! As long as the I.D. has the same area, almost anything goes.

I was asked this from a Maxima owner, why hasnt anyone tried to run the IC endtanks on one end. Like this:

I dont know if this can be done at all, but why not? It looks like if it were to run on the driver side of the car and not directly in the area of the Hot engine then cooling would be much easier.

It doesn't look like there's enough room. I don't think there's enough room between the radiator and turbo feed pipe to run an IC pipe there.

But both of them have their turbos mounted low right? So there may be more clearance that way than with the high mounted turbos found in all the kits.

Edit: well its not on the same end but its routed back to the same side...

I was not aware of that but what Turbo car does not run on the warm side? I mean go to the track and youll see Supras with bags of ice on top of the engines cooling them off. I seen people go as far as grabbing that spraying device the orkin man uses and filling it up with cold water and misting their engines up. It makes complete sense to spray Nitrous, at least during the summer months.

weird... i've never heard that. don't know where you got that from, but i've had no cooling issues even in 100 degree Texas heat. i don't want to jinx myself, but i've actually had almost ZERO problems with my kit , except for choosing too small a turbo the first time(only got me to 350fwhp) and wearing out my front tires too damn fast. other than that, i'm a happy camper.

I most likely going to get a turbo for my car by the end of the year and the only setup i like is sx7r's(even though it has no bling-bling factor) The cool think is that most people will just think it is a cold air intake. I would like to see some new setups and maybe more in-depth pictures of the current ones before I make a choice. There is a company in Houston, and they do custom setups and I think I might just get something like sx7r's.

by him having that intake on the fender well it will make the whining noise much louder. There is something about the fenderwell that empasizes the noise, you will hear his blower spool up when he hammers the gas. Thats what makes my blower loud the CAI, you can hear it whining.
