water in my lights... how do i get it out!

water in my lights... how do i get it out!

ok i have water build-up in one fog light and one signal

the signal light i can clean off... but the fog light's bulb hole (hehe) is to small for me to clean all the water out
- have u ever had this problem?
-what did you do?

i had that problem on one of my corner lights. Took it out. took a hair drier and dried it out. and reinstall it. I did this on a dry (humidity wise) day. if the air was too moist, it can condense again on the plastic after you reinstall the bulb. hope this helps.

i drilled a hole up through the fog light to let it drain. doesn't matta cause both my fogs are burned out and i don't car about replacing them.

what about brake cleaner.. do you think that would work

you mean that spray brake parts cleaner? with the nozzle? that stuff might eat right through the seals. it's pretty corrosive i think. how about just regular compressed air, like for computers and photo stuff?

i tryed that ...but they make them waaay to absorbant... it expanded almost 5 times its oraiginal size and i couldn't get it out

WD40 works wonders if your getting fed up with the hairdryer/heatgun.
