Fading Paint.....

Hey guys I have a problem that is killing me. Well the paint area that is between the left pass. door and the rear window is fading. I can see the spot and feel it more rough. What can I do? I'll have pics up as soon as my cam gets in. Is there anything i can do to save my car???
