crazy glue them on to the plastic nub and then put a tiny drop of the same onto the metal hole it fits in.

I put a small washer on the plastic reciever to make it nice and snug. Size the washer so it squeezes the clip just a slight bit, then pop the lense back in. Mine used to pop out a lot, even at a 40MPH drive to work. Now it's been 2 years and they've never come back out. I see my hood shake at around 120, but the clear lenses stay in.

mine did this once, and at high speeds too, i was pushing 100 coming back from ATL and heard clanking noise, i didnt know what the hell it was..

i pulled off @ a gas station and there it was.. dangling by the wires. i pushed it back in and left,,

when i bought mine, they came with nuts to bolt it on , but i never did, im going to epoxy it or something soon, but it has only happened once..

I had this problem with mine as well. I bought some washers and a bolt and jsut bolted it from the inside of the bumper. I had to partially detach one of the splash guards to gain access to inside of the bumper but it worked great. Mine came out when I was doing 140. It left scratches on my bumper.

Weatherproof clear silicone sealant works great too. Place a bead around the housing/lens gap and you will kill two birds with one stone. You'll make them waterproof and also help snug them into the bumper recess so that they don't rattle around in there due to the wind and movement of the vehicle.

I took a plastic straw and put it around the little tip on the light and then stuck it in the hole...never had a problem since. Ghetto but it works like a dream and isn't visible. Besides whenever I need to take them off I can just pop the off and on like stock.

That's pretty GHETTO!

Just kiddin' Jarrod...I tried doing that over at d_warner's house but we ended up using a hot glue gun.

I have a similar solution. I used weatherstripping that you can buy at any parts store. It's similar to the stuff in the door jambs only made out of foam and comes in rolls of different sizes and lengths. You can stick the weatherstripping around the perimeter of the lens far enough bach behind the clear part (face) and it will fit nice and snug and won't even be visible.

a small piece of napkin will do. I folded a small piece of napkin and covered the little nub, making it thicker. Then i just shoved it back in with the napkin wrapped around it. I had it for about two months now without that piece popping off on me.. Trust me, go with a piece of NAPKIN.

A paper napkin? That thing will deteriorate quickly, esp. when it rains. Not a good long term solution.

I think that the straw idea sounds good. It would make the nub fit tighter in the hole and is not perminant. Same idea as a napkin except it wont deteriorate. BTW Ravq you have a hot car!

the auto's top out at about 140 if you've removed the speed limiter or didn't have one to start with. do a search, there have been dozens of threads about this

I have a popcharger, MEVI, Y pipe, high flow cat, and cat back exhaust. I dynoed it and I have 188 fwhp. I have the SE which doesn't have a speed limiter and its a 5 spd. It actually hit 140 before I got the MEVI but now it gets there quicker.

Use a washer and screw it it from the rear. Keeps it snug and makes it harder for the sticky fingered crooks.

*recalls the thread where vandals tried to jack someones bolted clears, couldn't, and retaliated by keying the car up*...I think that may have been clee that brought that up. I'll sacrifice the clears if I have to

I wrapped the knub in e-tape, and also used 3m double-sided tape. Although scratchage has already been done to my bumper by the loose one
Not as ghetto as the straw by any means (and I thought I was ghetto fabulous. Maybe if I had more velcro to use instead of the 3m tape....)

I just put in a little of white glue, i didn't want to use crazy glue cause i won't be able to get the lights out later so just some glue that stick enough but not to much.

I think the chances of getting your car keyed is a lot less than the thief saying "F#%k it" and moving on to the next car.
