Its a very nice car. I've dropped my car and i live in the city. Enough said. Now i drive like your grandmom.

But I think you should drop your Max. With Coils, you can adjust them when you have the sudden urge to drive your car into a ditch.

Very nice clear/reds as well. Hard to find on 95/96 as stated above.

As you can see I am a single father with full custody of my 5 year old girl. Thats a bit bit of a financial burden considering her mom is a dead beat. I as well just purchased a $385,000 house. You act like my car is a bone stocker. I have a 94 ZX-7r and a jacked up K-5 Blazer as well. Sorry if you dont like my car but there is no reason to antagonize. also you tell me to hook up more than come back? do you mean my car is not good enough for the ORG? because if thats what your saying i think you need to check yourself, there are pleanty of cars on here that still have hub caps and orange bumper lights. I have about 1500 into my system including the 2 new sets of MB QUARTS components. My car has 165,000 miles on it.

i like it trutank: if you think $3500 in upgrades is such a big deal, check out what others have...then we can say YOUR car is as PLAIN as stock...it don't matter if you put $350 in or $3500 in...it's still a MAX

To me, a fart can, a ricey trunk, rims and stereo do not equal "hooked up"

It's all personal opinion.

Trutank is right you need a big dumb muffler and a trunk mod that keeps all the girls rubber-necking when your driving past. I think the trunk even substitutes as a wing when racing, adds 15 more horsepower at the wheel. $3500 well spent, financial planner anyone?

I have 2 12" jl audio subs, pioneer deck, Old school rockford 500 amp, and i bet, for the 2000 I have spent on my car which i guess is not enough, I could own that newbie in sound and driving skills. I have my priorities set elsewhere. Not going to go dumping ALL my money into a car with 165k on it even if it is a max. I would rather spend my money elsewhere, Like a mortgage for somthing that will make me money in the end rather than ****in it away on a tv for my ride, or a flip up trunk. They look good but to me not necessary. My dad has a 2002 M-5, I know my car will never touch that car and i drive it whenever i wish. My goal with my car is to make it look nice, drive well, last me another 100k, and beat up any hon-DUH I see... Thank you guys for the support and the nice words. And newbie, if you ever take your a$$ out of Tokyo and find your way to Jersey i will gladly own your car.

Hey Casey, don't worry about that half-@ss comment on your car... IMO, we're all big family, and there's there's no need to put others down just because he/she didn't spend as much $$ as you did on your car...

I met Casey in person, and saw his car. He's pretty young guy, and I'd take his car AND a house anyday over a car with $3500 sound system... but that's just me... Dude, the pictures don't do justice for your car and her color (it's starfire blue, if I'm not mistaken...). One of the best blue Nissan offered for Maxima's, IMO...

Hey Thanks! Bought the clears off here, for 240 bucks but i love em. they look sexxy. I like the look of these more than the 97-99. Keep looking on here. for the price your gonna pay to change your trunk and rear bumper you could just spent the 200 and buy these. they are around, i see like a pair a week on here for sale. The only problem i have is when i bought the sheeety altezzas my stock lights ended up in the trunk of a car we had that we eventully junked, they went with it. I do not have the right plugs for the outter tail lights. if anyone knows where i can get them please let me know. Thanks

I like the color, and red/clears on a 95/96 always look hot. Better than 97-99 red/clears IMO.

I cant believe this, Its like a bunch of KIDS nit picking on each other. Childish Im new to this MAXIMA_ORG site and Im thinking twice about this group. I cant even post a thread I have to lie and say oooh It looks good nice car just so I can not get bashed on by you other members. This is about his car not mine. Dont forget that.

No doubt man, i accept your opinion, but you were the one comparing yours to mine. telling me you have put 3500 into your car really does not impress me much. Also telling me to do more stuff to my car and come back is funny, look at some of the other guys cars on here some have rediculous amounts of work done and some are bone stock. This is not the modified maxima .org. Maxima.org is clear. If you really think my car looks plain thats fine, Have you ever seen a bone stock gle or gxe? the only thing i have not done to the exterior is a body kit and droppin it. I have DC clears, red clear tails, body color door pillars, lights on fenders, mesh grills, hid's, and xenons all around. The trunk mod imo is stupid. BUt like you said before you are new to this site, dont be telling people to do more stuff and come back, u are a new-B, I took abuse when I joined as will you and every other new-B that post stupit $hit. Your opinion is valid, but you take away from it by running your mouth. As far as the .org stick around read posts keep giving your input, and realize some people have better things too do with $3500. A max is a max is a max, they are all saweeet. And it actually gets me more Pu$$y than my dads M-5.

I've seen some red/clears go on ebay for dirt cheap. Not sure if they're "homemade" or what.

Trutank, you wasted $3500 on your now 16-second car. I like the 50-lb wheels.

maxgtr, your car looks great. much better choice with the new tails. And if it doesn't make sense for you to drop your car, then don't do it. If you don't auto-x or do whatever requires you to have stiffer springs and better shocks, then don't waste your money. Most people seem to drop their cars for looks only anyway.

IT DOES IT DOES!!!!!! I drive my dads car and every guy on the road drools as i pass them, girls could care less though. In the Max for some reason i get all kinds of looks from girls, i still havent figured it out. This one girl from Middletown NY, she had a hooked up civic, she did all the work herself and was really into cars, I took her for a ride in the M-5 and she actually told me her friends stock audi TT was much faster, I mean come on 400 hp M-5 > Audi. but who knows .
