I was some guy in a 350z doing a burn out at a stop sign and i wanted to see how fast those things are compared to my G35. So i pulled a U-turn and got behind him at a light. We turn left on to a very long wide open road and pulled next to each other. I got the jump and had him by about 3/4th of a car and held him off for a very long time. He gained the room back and started to pull away. We got up to a crazy speed and we ended when he was about a half car ahead.

I was like B@dass! i didnt expect to hold him off for that long of time. I pulled up to him and chatted for minute and he gave me a thumbs up and left.

Wow, what a nice, vague story... It could have been more interesting if you told us more specifics, such as how long is a very long time and what exactly this crazy speed equals in miles per hour.

I saw this car and it raced and it went really super-duper fast and for a really long time and it was so cool.

 

I like the story but.. IBTL.

 

I "raced" my neighbor in his '01 vette with my '02 6-spd. I did a lot better than I expected, but I didn't exactly gain on him.

 

Once, there was this Cavalier and it had three kids in it. They pull up to the light and rev their motor! The light turns green and they floor it! They left me WAY behind, too!


Then, my light turned green and I drove across their cross-street...

 

 

o yeah well i tried to race this Z but he was like oh yeah and i was like yeah and he was like do you got a hudred bucks and i was like no and he was like oh and yeah i went really fast but he didnt try

last nite me and my boy were headin down towards singing beach in manchester, ma. He was in his integra wit intake, exhaust, and headers and i was in my AE 5 spd stock. We decide to turn on the hazards and run em. at one point i was messin wit him he was doin bout 100 and i jus floor it and blow him away. Got up to speeds of bout 135 and i was only round 5000 rpms. i had a whole 1500 rpms to go but roads are to sh*tty to go ne faster. good times good times. cant wait to see what my MaX can do once i do my performance mods. gonna b sik

 

give the man a break. maybe he was too excited from the race to give details.

 

Ok want facts...we stated at 45-50 mph and i held him off until 100mph. As soon as i got in to 5th gear Auto, he got the car lenght back and started to pull away around 115mph. i let off and he left off soon after around 120-130mph or so.

The road is about .5 miles long between lights and its a little uphill and straight - no traffic, no cops, Both had radars- good times

this is the funniest thread....

 

One time I was on the interestate and went super duper fast, but then I got upto like 70 in a 65 and was really scared so I shut it down. Wish I had a video camera with me though cause it was great.

 

Out by the house this dropped and riced older Nissan pickup came up the road bouncing and banging all over the place...he looked at me, I looked at him, we GO FOR IT!! Engines come to life, gravel and dirt on the road get spit all over the place and then he just takes off on me and I am left plodding along!! I wonder, WTF, then remember I am on my riding mower cutting the grassy area near the culvert!

 

Oh yeah?...Well last summer on my way to band camp I got pulled over by this cop and he said I was speeding and I was like no I wasn't and he was like yes I was so he gave me a ticket and I was like hey man can you take that back and he was like OK so he did and then we went and had a beer...Man that was so great I can't even begin to tell you.

 

one time i was in my 2k2 and this jacked up white caprice pulls next to me with stickers all over his car and revs his engine and starts to pull away and there was nothing i could do about it! I couldnt help it, my foot wouldnt hit the gas hard enough to pass him! I dont know what mods he had but the all the stickers said STATE POLICE, he had these funny red and blue light bars on the top also, but for some reason i couldnt speed up!

 

one time this civic pulled up to me wanting to race me at a light, i was like ok, he was like for money?, i was like naw. so we lined up and i took him off the line then i switched gears on my sister's new pink and purple mountain bike and he slowly walked away. by the time i was in 12th gear he was pretty far ahead.

i told him ill race him again when i get my ribbon handles and pink racing seat.
