in the back? Is this even possible. I never thought about this until some one mentioned it to me at the track two days back. Has anyone tried this or do u guys think it's possible?

You wouldn't have as much stopping power if you did. Most of the weight of the vehicle is up front (plus with forward momentum, the most stopping power needs to be up front).

I'm sure it would work, but the result would be a decline in stopping power.

NOrmally i'd agree with that statement, but with EBD and BA one tends to think that maybe it's not that bad.

Just throwing some more flame into the fire

I don't think he was talking about swapping front to back, but putting an additional set of fronts on the back in place of the standard rear brakes.

Well, I guess he'll need to clarify before we debate on what we think or don't think he meant.

All I know is, with the money it would cost to modify, it's worth just getting the big brake kit and ss lines.

Unless you go to the track all the time, ss lines will suffice for day to day traffic and quick stops. Big brakes are for autocross and vehicles that are on the track constantly.

I already have a big brake kit (which is going to be installed soon) that's why i was wondering if it was possible to put a set of front OEM rotors and calipers on the back. I am putting the precision brake BBK on the fronts.

I dont think it'd be a great idea, the car would probably have too much stopping power in the back and you might end up locking the rear wheels when they normally wouldn't, not a good thing (tm.).
