No English version but Here is a picture I made up for those of us who need a graphical aid. This is for a 97 so check to make sure your ECU has the same pinout.

Thanks to Guru for the wiring pinout of the S-AFC II.

Here is a bigger picture for the seeing impaired.

hey thanks, but I don't understand the yellow and white or the brown and black instructions. I assume that the brown gets solderd on then the black gets soldered on 1cm further down the wire. but the yellow and white....?

Also what about the Apex RSM?

On the MAF you cut the wire, so one side is the signal from the MAF and the other side is the signal to the ECU.

SAFC II
Red - power
Green - rpm signal
Gray - Throttle signal (TPS)
Brown - Ground
Black - Ground
Yellow - A/F Output (this goes towards the ECU)
White - A/F Input (goes away from ECU)
Blue - can be used as O2 sensor voltage meter. Hook up to one of the primary O2 leads.

Jime, I know the SAFC knock function doesn't seem to work, but how is the A/F reading? Since you've had the datalogger have you seen the timing backed down when the A/F gets high or is the A/F function not very accurate since it uses the stock sensors?

I am going to give it more of a try today my Son had the wideband on his and we are going to compare it to the datalogger so see if it can be used.
My timing seems to stay the same WOT all the time but I haven't tried leaning it out yet so its still a work in progress.

Sounds good, and I know you'll keep us posted I don't need wideband accuracy, but I would like something that's more reliable than the Autometer light show I'm really looking forward to my SAFC now.

ok a couple of questions here:

1. your autometer A/F guage-does it just bounce left and right continuously through all the ranges?

2. did you guys connect the purple wire to the knock sensor #64?

3. Any wiring suggestions for the Rev/Speed meter?

I don't have an A/F personally, but I have installed one and it was all over the place. If the SAFC is even remotely accurate that would be great.
2. did you guys connect the purple wire to the knock sensor #64?
From everything I've read and Jim's comments you may as well not hook up the knock sensor function. Aparrently it's been said it only works on OBD I cars, and no one has gotten it to work yet. Then again maybe you could be a pioneer :P
3. Any wiring suggestions for the Rev/Speed meter?
The RSM should only need a few connections (Tach, ground, power, maybe a few more), and should be easier to install than the SAFC. I can't help you specifically, but you can probably find threads on the issue. If not, a FSM would be your next best bet.

Do you not have the instructions for the RSM? If you don't I believe our Maxima wiring is an N6-C...if so:
67 = power (red)
6 = RPM/TACH (yellow)
29 = speed (purple)
25 = Ground (black)

I'm not positive if 25 is a ground, but it appears that many Nissans use 25 as a ground. Can someone confirm? If not, maybe just use the same ground as the S-AFC II...but I know the ECU has more than one ground wire. Also the instructions above is not to remove the speed limiter. I figure you're probably a 5-speed anyways and no one should go over 114 MPH anyways.

So just the 4 wires is all?
