intake installed, now check engine on

hey i was wondering if anyone had this problem before. i just installed a midpipe from ebay and a k&n filter in my 96 5 spd. car runs perfect, sounds great but the check engine light came on. what should i do????? i have both sensors plugged in and the light is still on. how do i get the check engine light to go off??

How long has it been since you put the midpipe and filter on? Give the ECU some time and maybe it will adjust. If it doesn't turn off soon, Nissan dealers should be able to get the light back to working when the engine really does need to be checked.

yes, give it some time to adjust.
no, u don't bring it in to nissan dealership and charge $100 for labor. do it yourself!

Go to the FAQ's to find out how to check your ECU and pull the codes, its real easy, and youll know for sure whats causing the CEL to go on.
