I just bought a set of wheels. The dealer said he was sure that they would fit. I was wondering if anyone here was knew if he was right. The wheels are 17 x 7.5 with 48 offset.

I think that the correct offset for the Maxima is 40mm. I could be wrong, but that's what size my rims are.

It might work if you had wider wheels with a fat lip. otherwise its going to be tucked in a little.

It might not clear over the caliper. +48 mm is inward a little too much

I have a 45mm offset on my rims. However, they are 8" wide so they clear the brakes just fine and won't rub against the body. All the searching I did said that 42 was the highest you could go, but I've noticed a lot of inaccurate info lately. And plus, I like to learn the hard way.
