FMU Disc with 3.33" pully

Any reason to change from the stock (is it 8:1?) FMU disc?

thought stock is 6:1?

are you running lean? 8:1 adds a lot of fuel pressure on line....over 100+psi at 10psi.

ic...how's your FP and EGT reading at full boost? if EGT's high and FP is low...then I would go for a 8:1. Have you dynoed your car? 8:1 untuned will hurt your wallet a little....I am only pulling 295miles per tank on my car now.

EGT's are quite happy with the stock pully on there. No, I have not dynoed the car yet.

ic....IMO, it is always better to run rich than lean. you can get the 8:1 and dyno it...if it is way too rich, switch it back to 6:1 and see how it goes.

Anyone tried both or have experience with the 3.33" pully on the dyno that can recommend which is better?

I was ok with the 6:1 on my 3.33", however the V1 gives less boost than Jer's V2, so his being leaner is understandable. I believe you should be fine with the 6:1 (stock) until 3.125", at which point the 8:1 becomes a necessity.

I ran the 6:1 on my V1 with a 3.25" pulley for a while, and it showed signs of leanness when I pulled my plugs. I've since switched to the 8:1 for safety's sake.

You're a V2 right? I might have been a pulley size off.

No, V1. But I also have the MEVI, which sucks more air in at high rpm, so maybe that's why I was a little lean with the 6:1.

Could be, but the more I think about it, the more I feel like 3.33" is the smallest you can safely go with a 6:1, which would also explain why.
