Auto Shifter Wires

Is there any way to disconnect the auto shifter wires for the O/D without cutting? It appears that the factory wires are soldered on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

May I ask why you don't want to cut them, it's a simple splice to go back together if needed. Or do you feel cutting and splicing will lower the integrity of the harness. Since the OD button is a simple on/off switch you shouldn't have anything to worry about. It's not like it's a computer harness with variable ohms running thru it. Just my $0.02

LMAO same here. It makes no sense at all, some poor guy is asking how to disconnect wires and the guy replies with a metal head smilie.

Re: Re: Auto Shifter Wires

Thanks for the info... No aversion to cutting and splicing, just that all I have are bare wires exposed from the new shifter, and the old one will not come out without being cut so... I was just wondering if there were any way around it... no problems... let the cutting begin...
