This is such a good deal, but I don't see myself with a aftermarket exhaust anytime soon. Probably after my stock muffler goes bad. I like to see this kind of deal in the future, sorry I can't help you out.

yes, it is comparable to Greddy...and yes it is Mandrel bent... its OBX, not some cheapo company, look at the pics...

I love the pic...in fact my 02 is Gray Lustre too with Teins, but with toks...any way... u need to get the clears...it will make the car look more better, no more yellow and red markers...
Oh to the point, go to the Group Deal section, there is somone who made a comment on the sound already...not tooo loud at all... remember this is a whole catback system, so u get the OBX exhaust and the OBX b-pipe...

i just got mine put on yesterday, i got mine on ebay like some others and all i can say is wow, it sounds great and has very little drone sound at low speeds. it is a great system and is definately worth the money.

 

Thanks BlueStreak... some of the org. members think I am actually making money on this deal... NOPE... i am paying the same amount the other 9 people are if we ever get there... i am basically telling a vendor I have 10 orders for the OBX Catback and he is going to give us a deal, hence US!!!....

So $285 shipped is the best price for a Catback ... just look at the competitors, Cattman, Stillen, Greddy...all over the price of $400......

come on guys, i know some of you need a Catback... and since it is bolt on, when u don't want it on anymore, you can just take it off and put the stock one ON>.... No welding required for this Bolt On Catback...

 

I have the full unit and it sounds good. It can be loud (when the cat and exhaust get hot) it sounds like an E36 M-3 with exhaust or like VR6 GTIs with Neuspeed. It is a nice sound and suprisingly well built.

 

another satisfied OBX owner....

 

rice is not this exhaust. it has a unique sound in that it is low and deep but not so low that it is a v8 low. still lovin the exhaust.

i don't have the exhaust personally, so i can't say, but read the comments about it in this thread and the group deal thread.... i have a friend who has the exhaust and its sounds real good... not to loud and not to quiet like stock, but just right.... at cruising speed sounds real low, but if you floor it, then you will hear the monster roar, but not too loud, just enough so you know you got something....

I am interested but I want to know if sawing off that rediculous 4.5in exhaust tip will hurt the performance or not. That tip is RICE!!!!!!!!!

 

i agree about the tip. i was thinking of cutting the whole muffler off any putting on a different one. think that'd be a problem? i'm kinda tight for money now tho...

 

Do me a favor..... Look at this pic and tell me that pipe looks too big or ricey... It is almost lost on the back end.
