Weird Spot!! Please Help, Queens New York
Weird Spot!! Please Help, Queens New York
Hi,
Sorry, I don't currently have a digital camera, but I will try to describe as detailed as possible...
I just notice today a small mark on one of my doors, I would say about the size of a pinky nail. It's a dull type of spot, very noticeable (at least in my eyes) after getting a nice hand wash this past weekend. The car itself is so shine, except for this one little spot where I have no idea how it got there. To the touch, it is a little rough, and it seems to be on top of the clearcoat, since when I run my fingers from the smooth areas of the door and then over this one spot, the spot seems to be over the paint. I don't think it's bird poop, since I always eye the car so I have no idea what it could be.
The only thing that I have tried is to use a very wet charmin toilet paper over it. I really am scared about these things. On my old car, I had some old bird poop, and after I tried cleaning it I think I rubbed or smeared the paint. I really hope that is not what this is.
Please let me know of any ideas and or products. Or do you think a detailing place will be the way to go? Do you think this would be a big and expensive job? Can you recommend a place in Flushing, New York?
I apologize if you read this more than once - I will repost in several forums.
Thanks so much for your help!!!
