I've seen someone's sig with the Koni's installed (on a 5th gen)... forgot who though.

Cattman told Wustyle that they'll fit after the usual modifications.

Not to be a pain but what are "the usual modifications"? I won't be touching the spring or shock installs so I wanna know if the shop is gonna know what to do.

You'll have modify the stock strut housing...

1) Drill a hole on the bottom of the stock housing
2) Take off the metal cap and cut about .5 - 1 inch off the top (where the metal rod enters)
3) Take out the rod and clean the housing
4) Put the Koni strut in and bolt it down through the hole you drilled

There are some minor steps in between, but that's the general procedure. If you give them the instructions, they should know what to do... I hope.

I have 4th gen Konis on my 5th gen Max with no mods.
The rears were easy to do, but the fronts were a pain
in the a** to get on. But they did fit.
