I got the maxima bumper BS paint blues :(

so, im washing my beautiful max with the jetspray at the DIY carwash facility. I notice an unfortunate bug splattered on my bumper. I zone in on the area with the high pressure water, when to my extreme horror, along with the bug mess, the paint starts flying off my car!
OMFG! I just bought this car used less than a month ago from a honda dealership. obviously this bumper has been repainted. Is there a way for me to fix this? repaint it myself? will warranty cover (extended) Should the dealer cover it? ugh. this sux

after a closer look at the car, i also notice some blemishes in the rear bumper as well (possible bondo). now im not so sure of my recent purchase

Dude, get used to it is really all I can say. I have like 4 spots like that, and a bunch of other chips.. Nissan won't do a damn thing for you, I know this from experience, even if you go through corporate. Tomorrow I'm going to wash and wax my car. I'm going to try some stuff and cover them up. I'll post some before afters and let you know how it goes, though

You will get used to it. 5th Gen paint job is bad already, i think the repaint is even worse.

I have 5~10 paint chip on my front and rear bumper. Just leave it alone and you will be fine.

5th gens have weak paint, I have over 10 chips all around, I have sterling mist so its hard to see. Just make sure you get it checked out by a painter, cause looks like clear is gone obviously, which may soon oxidate the surrounding area and also the clear will lift around it, not a pretty sight. See how much it will cost to re shoot the bumper.
