"general maxima discussion" is biased

i have ventured into the communal "general maxima discussion," to see new things and have 'well-rounded' exposure to other generations, only to be alientated with a deluge of presumptuous posts apotheosizing the 4th and 5th gen maxima, mostly the 4th. so what is this about? it is like nobody on that forum gives 2 fu*ks about the 3rd. so are they enamored by the VQ engine to the point that all else is unworthy or unmentionable>?

it is similar to freshalloy.com. they are for 'all of nissan; but are skewed to the 240SX. nearly all of it is that. they should just call it "240alloy." so what gives?

IBTL - cuz you KNOW someone's gonna take offense in disparaging comments about one of the forums...

They fear what they do not understand, bro!

That's why you have this 3rd generation forum within, so don't complain, just move to a warmer place in the sun and bask in the warmth that's 3rd Gen.

Because the hugely overwhelming majority of the people that post on the forums are 4th and 5th gen owners. look at the number of threads in each of their respective forums.. 33xxx in the 5th gen and 48xxx or so in the 4th gen.. how many does the 3rd gen have? 18xxx. not a chance in hell of being able to keep up with them in sheer number of posts.......

Then you get morons like Donald going in there and yelling and screaming about how his barely modded (in comparison) 3rd gen is better than everyone else's car every single day. everyone gets tired of hearing it, so they tend to tune out 3rd gen owners because most of them act like that when they get in there. Also note that most of the 3rd gen owners are high school age, while the 4th and 5th are (mostly) older than that. many in college, many well past college, and only a few in high school still.

it's also whining type threads like this.. "mommmeeeee!! Big Brother is ignoring me again!! Make him play wif meeeeeee!"

jeeeez.
