Ok, I opened my hood and didn't even know where to start, does anyone have pictures for a 2k2 on how to install this and if anything you need special to install it, like a mounting bracket or something. Also how long did this take you guys to install...thanks.

 

If you're talking about the drop in just pop the 2 clips on top of the airbox (behind the battery) and then pull the cartridge out. AFter that mount the 2 mounting strips to the top and bottom of the filter cartridge insert the K & N filter and reverse the directions.

We are gonna need a little more info. You can't just install a cone filter without a new intake to put it on.

if you have the filter, you will need a mass air flow adapter. this will allow you to bolt the filter up the maf tube. most adapters will normally come with four screws. you could try and email frankencar and see if he will sell the adapter seperately. ive seen a few on ebay at different times and also at carparts.com but their customer service sucks.

Well I just went back to the stock airbox on my 2002 Maxima. Make me a good offer and I might consider selling my Frankencar midpipe, MAF adaptor, and support brace. I had it on the car for about a year now and no problems.

 

How much...that might be good, if the right price...
