Tyler Matthew Abbott was born around 6:30 pm Friday July 11, 2003. He weighs 7 lbs. 3 oz. and is 20 inches long.

All the nurses love him, and say he is the quietest and happiest baby in the nursery. He always looks curious and likes to look around at his surroundings and at us. The only time he really cries is when someone uncovers him, so for now he likes to stay bundled up, and prefferably laying with his momma.

Mother and baby are both doing fine and should come home tomorrow morning.
I'll give more updates then.

Update: the baby was examined this morning and had a little jaundice, so he'll have to stay one more night at the hospital. He has to sleep in a special bed tonight, so we are basically just going to the hospital during feeding times. In the meantime, I'm getting things ready at home, and preparing for family and friends visiting.

i'm the momma and i got the most beautiful baby boy. I think you all should be jealous . Les is a very good father. Tyler will be cruising in a maxima and a pathfinder so he'll want his nissan in the future.
