My track debut!

Went to the local speedway in Irwindale, CA to try out my 1/8 times.
I just decided at the last minute to go so I was totally unprepared.

Specs: 98 GXE Auto, Frankencar, Y-pipe, catback, UDP, 17" rims, temp was about between the 80-90s, raced with 3/4 tank of gas!! (doh!)

I did 4 runs, 3 of them with my full interior (subwoofer, spare, jack,)

my best run out of those 3 was:
R/T: .713
60': 2.337
330: 6.691
1/8: 10.239
MPH: 70.13

For my 4th and last run, I pulled the drop resistor, and someone was able to watch the stuff in my trunk so i took out my sub and spare but left the jack.

R/T: .420
60': 2.358
330: 6.662
1/8: 10.164
MPH: 70.98

What do you guys think? Is that whats expected with those mods??

2.472
73.65
10.125

it was an 1/8 mile track and I had empty trunk, 17's, 1/4 tank of gas, y-pipe, intake

Good Job Billy ! I just went for the first time too. We had a hot day also 91 degrees - 85 humidity. My numbers were much like yours.
